Autoimmune Diseases Diagnostics
PrintThe initial diagnostics of autoimmune diseases, carried out in the Laboratory for Allergological and Immunological Diagnostics, refers to:
- Systemic lupus erythematosus (CTD screen for ANA, ds DNA)
- Sjögren`s syndrome (CTD screen for ANA anti-Ro antibodies, anti-La antibodies)
- Systemic sclerosis (CTD screen for ANA)
- Limited systemic sclerosis (CTD screen for ANA)
- Polymyositis and dermatomyositis (CTD screen for ANA)
- Mixed connective tissue disease (CTD screen for ANA)
- Antiphospholipid syndrome (cardiolipin antibodies and β2-glycoprotein I)
- Celiac disease (tissue transglutaminase antibodies)
- Vasculitides (ANCA antibodies-MPO and PR3)
- Autoimmune inflammation of thyroid gland (thyroid peroxidase antibodies –antimicrosomal antibodies and antibodies to thyroglobulin – antithyroglobulin antibodies)
If the findings indicate the existence of an autoimmune disease, further clinical tests – additional diagnostics and therapy are carried out in clinical institutions. These analyses are not covered by the RHIF. The analyses fees are charged.
