Allergic diseases and conditions which are diagnosed in the Laboratory for Allergological and Immunological Diagnostics:

  • Respiratory allergy (allergic sneezing, asthma)
  • Skin allergic manifestations (eczema, urticaria, medicamentous rash)
  • Sinus inflammation, nasal polyposis, local allergic sneezing, eosinophilic sneezing,  Asthma (evaluation of inflammatory activity by ECP determination)
  • Mastocyte disorders – mastocytosis (determination of serum tryptase)
  • Food allergy (testing IgE-mediated early food reactions)
  • Insect sting allergy (bee, wasp, hornet)
  • Medicament allergy (penicillin preparations, alfacet, leptosuccine) - the first phase of testing
  • Atopic predisposition (evaluation of predisposition to allergic diseases by screening test - phadiatop and phadiatopinfant)
  • Allergy profile (IgE determination by specific recombinant and native allergenic components)
  • Monitoring the effects of allergen-specific immunotherapy (IgG4 antibody determination)

The number of required analyses depends on the clinical picture and clinical findings (skin tests).

These analyses are not covered by the RHIF. The analyses fees are charged.
